Burning Hill Canna Co is not your average farm. It is a biodiverse haven for all the wonders nature has to offer. We are stewards to the land and in return are gifted for our efforts as well as the lessons we learn along the way. Jeff Henry, a multi generational organic farmer and first generation biodynamic pioneer cares deeply for this land he and his family have grown up on. This includes the animals, running waters, the trees & the bees. Jake Hafferman & Nick Martens are partners of the farm whom both share a lifelong passion for the cannabis plant which as so greatly impacted their lives positively. Together the goal was set to replenish the land while sequestering carbon and in turn receiving a bounty of CBD & CBG cannabis that will help heal the woes of many.
Knowing that the Cannabis plant will express the best healing properties and transfer to us the most of its magical astral star knowledge when grown with the utmost love and respect, we went about building our garden. We decided on placing the garden on the uppermost part of the top pasture, giving the garden and its inhabitants a beautiful view and a nice breeze that the cannabis plant just thrives on. After the first season of growing in this garden we have found it to be true to our original ideals and the garden has provided us with a beautiful and abundant first crop of CBD and CBG cannabis flower.
Our team comes together almost seamlessly to accomplish this. Jake brings the in-depth knowledge, good vibes and humor to work like he has a doctorate in all things Cannabis. Nick brings to the table experience in the business of cannabis, growing, and details of a flawless harvest / cure like no other. Jeff brings the equipment, land and stewardship skills from his lifetime of observation on his 5th generation family farm. Together we strive to build a agriculture based on the principle that what’s good for the land and it’s community of wild plants and animals that live there, can also be a positive way to earn a living from the land, without taking too much or harming too much in our work.
Give us a try. You’ll be supporting a vision of a better future and be glad you did.
